We firmly denounce the recent hateful speech and actions against 2SLGBTQIA+ people and specifically the transgender community – our community.
We support the City of Calgary’s Bylaw number 17M2023 to create safe and inclusive access to recreation facilities and libraries. These spaces must remain beacons in the community where people of all ages come to grow and thrive. We will continue to review our operational plans and emergency response procedures, to embed this Bylaw as required.
